Black Chickpeas Soya Cutlet Recipe

A delicious protein rich indian snack that made by shallow frying a coarse batter of chana and soya. It is perfect as an evening snack or a breakfast. A favourite amongst all age groups, it can be served with mint or coriander chutney.

1/8 Tsp(0.26 gm) Red Chilly (Powder)

1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt

  • Take a mixing bowl and add 1 tbsp boiled potato, 1 tbsp boiled chana, 1 tbsp soya granules, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp jeera, 1/4th tsp chilli powder, 1/4th tsp dhania powder, 1/8th tsp ajwain, 1/2 tsp chaat masala and 1 tbsp bread crumbs.

  • Using your hand, mash and mix properly.

  • Making sure all the ingredients are evenly distributed, make cutlets of the desired shape and keep aside.

  • Heat 1 tsp oil on a low flame in a frying pan.

  • Shallow fry the cutlets on both sides till crispy and golden brown.

  • Serve hot with ketchup.
