Cashew Fudge Recipe

A sweet healthy dessert with the crunch of cashews and goodness of chocolate, made nutrient and energy dense giving a sweet completion to a delicious meal.

1/2 Cup(82.0 gm) Cashewnut
2 Tbsp(20.0 gm) Khoa
1 Tsp(1.0 gm) Cocoa Powder
2.5 Tbsp(28.0 gm) Sugar (Powder)
1/2 Tbsp(4.0 gm) Pista (Chopped)
1/2 Tbsp(5.0 gm) Almond (Chopped)
1.5 Tsp(6.0 gm) Butter
  • Prepreparation

    Grind 1/2 cup cashewnut to make fine powder.

  • For fudge

    In a heated pan add 2 tbsp khoa and stir continuously till it melts.

  • To this add 2.5 tbsp sugar powder and 1 tsp cocoa powder.

  • Mix all ingredients well and add 1/2 cup cashew powder.

  • Mix well and stir continuously till it separates from pan.

  • To this add 1.5 tsp butter, stir well and turn off the heat.

  • Transfer to a greasy tray and add 1/2 tbsp chopped pista, 1/2 tbsp chopped almond.

  • Gently press it and allow to set in fridge for 15 minutes.

  • Later on cut it into pieces.

  • Chocolatey cashew fudge is ready to serve.
