Carrot Sago Paratha Recipe

This yummy sago paratha is a great new way to eat sago. All the flavors blend together perfectly! Its a great tiffin lunch served with Nestlé A+ Curd.

3 Tbsp(26.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
1/2 Tbsp(3.0 gm) Carrot (Grated)
2 Tsp(8.0 gm) Sabudana
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli Paste
1/4 Tsp(0.44 gm) Jeera Powder
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1 Tsp(4.0 gm) Ghee
As Required(25.0 ml) Water
  • In a mixing bowl, add 3 tbsp wheat flour, mashed sabudana, and 2 tbsp grated carrot.

  • Then, add 1/4th tsp each of salt, green chilly paste, and jeera powder.

  • Add sufficient water, mix well and knead into a soft dough.

  • Roll the dough ball into a paratha using a rolling pin.

  • Roast both sides of the paratha thoroughly on a heated tawa, with 1 tsp ghee.

  • Serve hot.
