A fulfilling meal with a low-calorie count, carrot potato apple soup is easy to digest. The walnut garnish powers up the soup with the goodness of omega-3.
In a pan heat 1/4 tsp oil.
Add 1/8 cup each of diced potato, carrot, apple and saute.
Then, add 1/4 tsp each of salt and pepper and stir well.
Add required amount of water, cover the pan with a lid and cook for 5 minutes.
Put off the heat, and puree with a blender.
Finally, add 1/8cup diced apple on top and serve in a bowl.
Add a tsp of walnuts for a nutritional twist.
