This carrot kheer recipe requires use of fresh and healthy carrots rich on B carotene, dietary fibers and antioxidants. Best part is that the milk is lactose free!
In a kadai, add 2 tsp ghee, 1 tsp chopped almond, 1 tsp chopped pista and roast.
Now add 4 tbsp grated carrot and cook for 2 min.
Add 2 tsp sugar, lactose free milk, 1/4th tsp elaichi powder, 2 kesar strands and mix.
Add water to fix the consistency.
Bring to a boil and serve.
