Carrot Kheer (Lactose Free Milk) Recipe

This carrot kheer recipe requires use of fresh and healthy carrots rich on B carotene, dietary fibers and antioxidants. Best part is that the milk is lactose free!

1/2 Cup(118.0 ml) Lactose Free Milk

1/2 Cup(72.0 gm) Carrot (Grated)

2 Tsp(9.0 gm) Sugar

1 Tsp(3.0 gm) Almond (Chopped)
ingredients
1 Tsp(3.0 gm) Pista (Chopped)
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(0.5 gm) Elaichi (Powder)
ingredients
2 No.(0.2 gm) Kesar (Strand)

1 Tbsp(15.0 gm) Ghee

As Required(20.0 ml) Water
  • In a kadai, add 2 tsp ghee, 1 tsp chopped almond, 1 tsp chopped pista and roast.

  • Now add 4 tbsp grated carrot and cook for 2 min.

  • Add 2 tsp sugar, lactose free milk, 1/4th tsp elaichi powder, 2 kesar strands and mix.

  • Add water to fix the consistency.

  • Bring to a boil and serve.
