Caramel Custard Recipe

The classic caramel custard, with the goodness of caramelized sugar. This dessert contains egg which makes it highly rich in protein!

1 No.(45.0 gm) Egg
1 Cup(204.0 ml) Milk
3 Tbsp(39.0 gm) Sugar
2 Tsp(5.0 gm) Custard Powder
As Required(10.0 ml) Water
  • In a pan, heat 1.5 tbsp sugar, add water as required and mix well. Transfer to an aluminium tin and keep aside.

  • In a bowl, beat 1 whole egg, 1 cup milk, 2 tsp custard powder and mix well.

  • Add 1.5 tbsp sugar and stir.

  • Transfer the mixture to the aluminium vessel.

  • Place the aluminium vessel in a double boiler, cover and cook for 15 minutes.

  • Demould the custard.

  • Serve.
