Cabbage Sattu Paratha Recipe

Cabbage Sattu Parathais a nutritious meal option using easily available Indian kitchen ingredients, which can also be packed up for lunch boxes. The recipe uses Sattu which is rich in protein, folate and vitamin B9.

2 Julienne Tbsp(12.0 gm) Cabbage
20 Ml(20.0 ml) Water
1 Tsp(4.0 gm) Ghee
1/8 Tsp(0.56 gm) Salt
1/4 Tsp(0.53 gm) Dry Mango Powder
1 Tbsp(10.0 gm) Besan
2.5 Tbsp(22.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
  • In a bowl, mix 2.5 tbsp wheat flour, 1 tbsp besan, 2 tbsp julienne cabbage, 1/8th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp dry mango powder and water.

  • Knead into a dough.

  • Divide the dough into small portions and coat one of the dough ball in wheat flour, roll into a paratha.

  • Roast the paratha with 1 tsp ghee.

  • Flip and roast on both sides until cooked completely.

  • Serve hot with an accompaniment of your choice.
