Cabbage Peas Poriyal Recipe

1/4 Cup(25.0 gm) Cabbage(Julienne)

1.5 Tbsp(9.0 gm) Fresh Coconut(Grated)

1/8 Cup(19.0 gm) Peas(Boiled)
ingredients
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Black Urad Dal
ingredients
1/2 Tbsp(6.0 gm) Chana Dal
ingredients
1/8 Tsp(0.23 gm) Ginger(Grated)
ingredients
5 No.(0.55 gm) Kadi Patta
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli(Chopped)
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(0.93 gm) Rai
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
ingredients
1 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil

As Required(50.0 ml) Water
  • In a pan, heat 1 tsp oil.

  • Add 1/4th tsp rai, 1/2th tsp urad dal, 1/4th tsp chana dal, 5 kadi patta leaves and saute.

  • Add 1/4th cup julienne cabbage, 1/4th tsp chopped green chilli, 1/8th tsp grated ginger and water.

  • Add 1/4th tsp salt, cover and allow to cook.

  • Add 1.5 tbsp grated coconut and saute.

  • Now add 1/8th cup boiled peas.

  • Mix and serve with rotis.
