1/4 Cup(25.0 gm) Cabbage (Julienne)
1 Tbsp(11.0 gm) Chana Dal
1/2 Tsp(0.94 gm) Ginger (Grated)
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli Paste
4 No.(0.44 gm) Kadi Patta
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
1/4 Tsp(0.93 gm) Rai
1/4 Tsp(0.6 gm) Haldi
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil
As Required(50.0 ml) Water
  • In a kadhai, heat 1 tsp oil.

  • Add 1/4th tsp each of rai, jeera, and 4 leaves of kadi patta and let it crackle.

  • Add 1/2 tsp grated ginger, 1/4th tsp green chilli paste, haldi.

  • Add cooked chana dal and mix well.

  • Add 1/4th cup julienned cabbage and 1/4th tsp salt, and mix well.

  • Add sufficient water, cover with a lid and cook.

  • Mix all the ingredients well.

  • Serve hot with roti or rice.
