- Step 1 In a kadhai, heat 1 tsp oil.
- Step 2 Add 1/4 tsp each of rai and jeera, and 4 kadi patta and let it crackle.
- Step 3 Add 1/2 tsp grated ginger, 1/4 tsp green chilli paste and 1/4 tsp haldi.
- Step 4 Add cooked chana dal and mix well.
- Step 5 Add 1/4 cup julienne cabbage and 1/4 tsp salt, and mix well.
- Step 6 Add sufficient water, cover with a lid and cook.
- Step 7 Give a Nestle Twist by adding black sesame seeds.
- Step 8 Mix all the ingredients well.
- Step 9 Serve hot with roti or rice.
