Burger With Green Gram Corn Cutlet Recipe

  • To make the green gram corn cutlet, take a mixing bowl and add boiled moong, 1.5 tbsp boiled arbi, 1 tbsp boiled sweet corn and mix well.

  • Once mixed properly, add 1/8th tsp jeera powder, 1/8th tsp chopped green chillies, 1/8th tsp amchur, 1 tsp chopped pudina and 1/8th tsp salt.

  • Making sure all the ingredients are evenly distributed, split the batter and make raw cutlets of the desired size. Keep aside.

  • Heat 1 tsp oil on a low flame in a frying pan.

  • Shallow fry the cutlets on both sides till crispy and golden brown. Keep aside.

  • For celery green vatana spread, take a grinding jar and add 3/4th tbsp mashed peas, 1 tbsp chopped celery leaves, 1/2 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1/8th tsp ajwain, 1/8th tsp salt along with a little water.

  • Blend till a smooth consistency is obtained, transfer to a bowl and keep aside.

  • For the final assembly of burger, take a burger bun and cut it into 2 halves.

  • Place a raw lettuce leaf on the lower half of the bun followed by the green gram corn cutlet and 1 spoonful of the celery spread.

  • Spread the celery spread and add 3 slices of cucumber, 2 slices of onion, 1 slice of tomato and cover with the other half of the bun.

  • Serve immediately with ketchup.
