Broken wheat upma is commonly known as daliya upma. This recipe is super easy and ideal for the weight loss as well. Its a complex carbohydrate recipe that is rich in fiber and gives u early satiety. Can be eaten at any time as breakfast, evening snack or dinner.
Take a kadhai, add 1 tsp oil and 1/2 tsp rai.
Once the rai starts crackling, add 1/2 tsp chopped green chilli, 5 kadi patta, 1/4th tsp hing,1 tbsp chopped onion, 1 tbsp chopped tomato,1 tbsp chopped carrot and 1 tbsp chopped cabbage.
Further, add previously soaked dalia, 1/4th tsp salt and sauté well.
Pour in a required amount of water and allow it to cook.
Once all the water has dried up, add 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Garnish it with coriander.
