This flavorful recipe is a quick recipe, very basic ingredients are required. Its not only easy but this recipe is rich in proteins and antioxidants also.Its a low cal recipe as well !
Boil and mash 1 tsp tur dal and keep aside.
Take a kadhai and heat 1/2 tsp oil.
Add 1/4th tsp rai, 1 red chilly, 5 kadi pattas, 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1 tbsp chopped tomatoes, 2.5 brinjal pieces sliced and saute well.
Add 1/2 tbsp tamarind pulp, 1 tsp sambhar powder, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/8th tsp haldi and water.
Cover and let it simmer for a while.
When it comes to boil, add 1/4th cup cooked tur dal and mix well.
Serve hot with rice.Enjoy.
