Black Urad Khichdi Recipe

  • In a pressure cooker, add 1 tsp oil, 1/4th tsp jeera, 4 No. kadi pasta, and 1/4th tsp hing. let it crackle.

  • Now, add 1 tbsp chopped onion, 2 tbsp chopped tomato, 2.5 tbsp rice, 2 tbsp urad dal, 1/4th tsp red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp salt, and water.

  • Pressure cook for 2 whistles.

  • Serve hot.
