This recipe is delicacy of North India. Its a simple recipe with infused flavor of spices. Its rich in protein and fiber. It can be served with puri, paratha, roti, or kulcha.
Take 2 tbsp chana, soak and boil it. Keep aside.
Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan.
Add 1/4th tsp jeera, 1 tbsp chopped onion and sauté.
Once the jeera starts crackling, add 1 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp coriander powder, 1/4th tsp red chilli powder, 1/4th tsp salt and sauté.
Once the oil starts leaving the sides of the onion tomato masala and the tomatoes are softened, mix the previously boiled black chana, mix, cover and allow it to cook.
Serve hot with chapattis.
