Bengal cuisine has a special place for yogurt in their lives and this recipe is one good example.Bhapa Doi can be flavored with saffron, cardamom etc and can be garnished with fresh fruits or chopped nuts. It can also be given a fruity flavour by adding strawberry or pomegranate reduction and topped with molasses.
In a mixing bowl, add 1/2 cup Curd, 1/2 cup Condensed Milk and 1/8 cup Milk.
Mix all ingredients and whisk it well.
To this mixture add 1 tsp chopped Almond and 2 tsp chopped Pista.
Transfer this to earthen pot and then to steamer.
Steam this for 15 min.
Tasty Bhapa Doi is ready to serve.
