Besan Kadhi Recipe

Besan kadhi is a popular Indian dish and very easy to make. It is prepared in different ways in different parts of the india. Its easy to digest dish and rich in protein, calcium and probiotic as well.

4.0 Tbsp(57.0 gm) Nestlé A+ Curd
1/2 Chopped Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli
5.0 Number(0.55 gm) Kadi Patta
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
1/4 Tsp(0.93 gm) Rai
1/4 Tsp(0.74 gm) Hing
1/4 Tsp(0.6 gm) Haldi
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1/2 Tbsp(8.0 gm) Ghee
175.0 Ml(175.0 ml) Water
  • For Besan Paste

    In a mixing bowl, add 3 tbsp besan, 4 tbsp Nestlé A+ Curd and water to make a smooth paste and keep aside.

  • For Kadhi

    In a nonstick kadhai, heat 1 tbsp melted ghee.

  • To that add 1/4 tsp rai, 1/4 tsp jeera, 5 kadi patta, 1/2 tsp chopped green chilli, 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp hing, besan paste and a little water. Mix well.

  • Cover and cook for a while.

  • Serve hot with rice.
