  • In a bowl add 2 tbsp bengal gram flour (besan).

  • Add 1/8 tsp each of salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and omum (ajwain).

  • Add required amount of water and whisk briskly making sure no lumps are formed and a smooth batter is obtained.

  • Heat the pan and pour the batter on it, spreading it evenly.

  • Drizzle 1 tsp oil over it.

  • Roast both sides till cooked.

  • Serve with mint coriander chutney.
