Beetroot Sprouts Kadhi Recipe

Kadhi got a makeover of pretty pink hue from beetroot and enriched with protein packed sprouts. Delicious and Nutritious Beetroot sprouts kadhi that pairs best with hot steamed rice. An excellent warm probiotic dinner packed with carbs and protein, that your child will love it.

125.0 Ml(125.0 ml) Water
  • Take 1 tbsp moong dal, soak overnight to sprout it, blanch and keep aside.

  • Take a mixing bowl add 4 tbsp Nestlé A+ Curd, 2 tsp besan, 1/2 tsp grated ginger, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/8th tsp lemon juice and 1/2 tsp sugar.

  • Whisk until smooth, pour in a little water to obtain a liquid consistency and further whisk it.

  • Take a frying pan and melt 1/2 tsp ghee.

  • Add 1/8th tsp rai, 1/8th tsp jeera, 1/8th tsp methi seeds, 1/2 cinnamon, 1 clove, 1 whole red chilli, 4 curry leaves, previously cooked 1 tbsp whole moong sprouts and sauté well.

  • Further, add 1 tbsp grated beetroot and mix.

  • Pour in the previously made Nestlé A+ Curd mix and stir it properly.

  • Allowing it to simmer for a few minutes, transfer to a serving bowl.

  • Garnish with a mint leaf.

  • Serve hot with rice.
