Beetroot Mayonnaise Recipe

Beetroot Mayonnaise is a simple healthy spread which can be made super quickly with hung yoghurt. It goes super well as an accompaniment with burgers, lavash or crudites. Beetroot is super rich in nutrients like potassium, calcium and magnesium, making this spread delicious and healthy for your children.

2 Tsp(6.0 gm) Beet Root (Grated)
4 Tbsp(57.0 gm) Curd
1 Tsp(4.0 ml) Lemon Juice
2 Tsp(22.0 gm) Honey
1/8 Tsp(0.56 gm) Salt
1 Tsp(2.0 ml) Olive Oil
  • Grate beetroot, squeeze its juice and keep aside.

  • In a mixing bowl take 1/4th cup hung curd, 2 tsp honey, 2 tsp olive oil, 1/8th tsp salt, 1 tsp lemon juice along with 1 tsp grated beetroot juice.

  • Mix well till a smooth consistency is obtained, follow this by transferring to a bowl.

  • Garnish with black sesame seed.

  • Serve cold or room temperature.
