- Step 1 Soak 2 tbsp rice and 2 tsp urad dal for 2 hours in required water and grind till smooth. Ferment overnight adding 1/8 tsp salt into it.
- Step 2 In the batter, 2 tbsp grated beet root and mix well.
- Step 3 Give a Nestle Twist by adding kasuri methi.
- Step 4 Grease idli mould with 1/2 tsp oil.
- Step 5 Add batter into it.
- Step 6 Cover and steam till cooked.
