Beetroot Chutney Recipe

1/2 Cup(71.0 gm) Beet Root (Grated)

1 Tsp(4.0 gm) Black Urad Dal

1 Tsp(4.0 gm) Chana Dal

10 No.(1.0 gm) Kadi Patta

1 Tsp(2.0 gm) Green Chilli (Chopped)

1 Tsp(2.0 gm) Garlic (Chopped)

1/2 Tsp(2.0 ml) Lemon Juice

1/8 Tsp(0.35 gm) Hing
ingredients
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Salt

2 Tsp(7.0 ml) Oil
  • Soak 1 tsp urad dal and 1 tsp chana dal in warm water and keep aside.

  • Heat 2 tsp oil a frying pan at a low flame.

  • Add soaked urad dal, soaked chana dal, 10 kadi patta, 1 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tsp chopped green chilli, 1/8th tsp hing and sauté.

  • Further, add 1/2 cup grated beetroot and sauté.

  • Once cooked, transfer to a blender, add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp lemon juice.

  • Blend until smooth, transfer to a serving bowl.

  • Serve fresh.
