Bathua Paratha With Curd Recipe

Bathua is a lesser known winter green that is incredibly nutritious and refreshing. It is rich in calcium, iron, potassium and vitamins A,C and B. Bathua paratha can be served in breakfast for any age group along with curd, chutney or ketchup

1/4 Cup(36.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)

1 Tsp(2.0 gm) Ginger(Chopped)
ingredients
1 Tsp(0.62 gm) Garlic (Chopped)
ingredients
1/4tsp(0.53 gm) Green Chilli (Chopped)
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
ingredients
1/2 Tsp(2.0 ml) Oil

As Required(15.0 ml) Water

2 Tbsp :For Accompaniment(29.0 gm) Curd
  • Take a kadhai and heat 1 tsp oil

  • Add 1/4th tsp jeera, 1 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tsp chopped ginger, 1/4th tsp chopped green chilli and saute till golden brown.

  • Add 1/2 cup bathua leaves, 1/4th tsp salt and saute well.

  • Blend the mixture well into a paste.

  • Take a mixing bowl and add 1/4th cup wheat flour, prepared bathua paste and knead the dough.

  • Roll the dough into a paratha.

  • Take a tava and add roast with 1/2 tsp oil.

  • Roast evenly on both sides.

  • Serve hot with curd.
