Steps
- Step 1
Heat a pressure cooker with 1/2 tsp oil, add 1/2 tsp chopped ginger, 1 tsp each of chopped onion, carrot, capsicum and saute
- Step 2
Season with 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder and add water as required
- Step 3
Add 2 tbsp barley and mix well
- Step 4
Close the lid and pressure cook until 45 whistles
- Step 5
Once done, stir it well and blend until smooth using a hand blender
- Step 6
Give it a Nestle Twist by adding chopped almonds
- Step 7
Serve warm
