Banarasi Aloo Recipe

This delicious banarasi aloo is one of the most coveted aloo currry. Its full of a melange of spices and goes well with roti.

  • Heat kadhai, add 1 tsp oil, 1 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tsp grated ginger, 1 tbsp chopped onion, 2 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/4th tsp red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/2 tsp dhania powder, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1 tbsp curd, saute well.

  • Then add 10 ml water, sitr well on medium flame.

  • Add 6 boiled potato, 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves.

  • Add kasuri methi (Nutritional Twist), saute well.

  • Serve hot.
