• For Filling

  • Step 1 In a pan, add 1/2 cup chopped banana, 1/4 cup jaggery powder and 1/8 tsp green elaichi powder.
  • Step 2 Mix all ingredients well till jaggery melts.

• For Dough

  • Step 1 In a pan boil water as required and add 1/8 tsp salt, 1/4 cup rice flour and mix well.
  • Step 2 Turn off the heat and knead a soft dough.
  • Step 3 Allow it to cool, take a small portion, add stuffing, round it into a ball and press it from sides.
  • Step 4 Give a Nestle Twist by adding pista.
  • Step 5 Prepare the rest, transfer the modak to the steamer.
  • Step 6 Allow it to steam for 15 min.
  • Step 7 Delicious modak is ready to serve.
