Banana Kheer Recipe

Banana kheer is a delicious dessert recipe designed especially for kids. However, because we all enjoy desserts, this recipe is suitable for anyone with a sweet tooth. This quick and easy recipe is high in fiber, B vitamins, potassium, antioxidants and calcium. It can be served hot or cold, depending on your preference.

1.0 Cup(204.0 ml) Nestlé A+ Milk
1/4 Mashed Cup(69.0 gm) Banana
2.0 Chopped Tbsp(29.0 gm) Banana
2.0 Tbsp(26.0 gm) Sugar
1.0 Tbsp(10.0 gm) Khoa
5.0 Strand(0.5 gm) Kesar
1.0 Chopped Tsp(3.0 gm) Pista
1.0 Chopped Tsp(3.0 gm) Almond
0.13 Powder Tsp(0.25 gm) Green Elaichi
1.0 Tsp(4.0 gm) Ghee
  • Heat a frying pan at a low flame and pour in 1 cup of Nestlé A+ Milk.

  • Once the Nestlé A+ Milk starts simmering add 1 tbsp khoa, 1 tsp chopped pista, 1 tsp chopped almond, a few strands of kesar, 2 tbsp sugar, 1/8th tsp green elaichi and mix well.

  • Keep stirring till Nestlé A+ Milk starts to thicken and you can smell a beautiful aroma, take off the flame and keep aside.

  • Melt 1 tsp ghee in another frying pan, add 2 tbsp chopped banana and sauté.

  • Once the banana is slightly cooked, take off the flame allow it to cool and keep aside.

  • Take a mixing bowl, add 1/4th cup mashed banana, pour in the previously made aromatic Nestlé A+ Milk mixture, the previously stirfried banana, mix well and transfer to a serving bowl.

  • Garnish with a sprinkle of flax seeds.

  • Serve hot.
