Banana Bhajiya is a traditional snack that has been acclaimed as the perfect tea-time accompaniment by several generations of Indians! much loved across the nation, this scrumptious snack is made by deep-frying batter-coated banana slices.
In a bowl, make a batter of 1/4th cup besan, 1/4th tsp green elaichi powder, 2 tsp jaggery powder and for a healthy twist add white sesame seeds, add water to adjust consistency, mix well and avoid any lumps. The batter should not be very thin or thick.
Now, in a kadai, heat oil for deep frying.
Dip 10 slices banana in prepared batter, make sure the banana slices are well coated in batter.
When the oil is heated well, drop the banana slices in the heated oil.
Flip and fry the bhajiyas from both sides until they are nicely cooked and crispy.
