Bajra Upma Recipe

Bajra upma is a flavourful, gluten-free dish made with whole grain bajra which combined with different veggies of your choice and making it a healthy and tasty option for kids and adults.

2.5 Tbsp(31.0 gm) Bajra
2.5 Chopped Tbsp(31.0 gm) Tomato
2.5 Chopped Tbsp(20.0 gm) Onion
1.0 Chopped Tsp(0.92 gm) Coriander Leaves
1.0 Tsp(4.0 gm) Lemon Juice
1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli
1/4 Tsp(0.93 gm) Rai
1/8 Tsp(0.3 gm) Jeera
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1.0 Tbsp(8.0 ml) Oil
100.0 Ml(100.0 ml) Water
  • Cook 2.5 tbsp bajra.

  • In a pan add 1 tbsp oil, 1/4 tsp rai and allow it to crackle.

  • Add 1/4 tsp jeera, 2.5 tbsp chopped onion, 1/2 tsp chopped green chili, 2.5 tbsp chopped tomato and wait until it gets mushy.

  • Add cooked bajra, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp lemon juice and cook well.

  • Garnish with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.

  • Serve Hot.
