Being coarse in texture, Bajra has innumerable benefits that you just cannot count merely on your fingertips. Apart from being an excellent source of energy, Bajra also lowers the level of cholesterol, aids in preventing heart disease, bolsters digestion, works for the prevention of cancer.
In a pan add 1 tsp oil, 1/4th tsp rai and allow it to crackle.
Add 1/4th tsp jeera, 2 tsp chopped onion, 1/2 tsp green chili, 2 tsp chopped tomato and wait until it gets mushy.
Add cooked bajra, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp lemon juice and cook well.
Garnish with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
