Bajra Ladoo Recipe

Bajra ladoo is a delectable homemade instant sweet, often eaten during winters and festivals. Made with Pearl Millet makes it gluten free and high in calcium. Instant energy ladoos with nuts roasted in ghee adds in healthy fats, makes it kids favorite.

1/2 Flour Cup(54.0 ml) Bajra
3.0 Powder Tbsp(31.0 gm) Jaggery
1.0 Chopped Tbsp(11.0 gm) Almond
1.0 Chopped Tbsp(10.0 gm) Cashewnut
3.0 Tbsp(45.0 gm) Ghee
  • Take a frying pan, heat 1.5 tbsp ghee and add 1/2 cup bajra flour.

  • Roast until brown and set aside.

  • Take another frying pan heat 1.5 tbsp ghee, add 1 tbsp chopped almond and 1 tbsp chopped cashew nut.

  • Roast until golden brown and set aside.

  • Take the previously roasted flour in a mixing bowl, add 4 tbsp jaggery powder and the previously roasted nuts.

  • Making sure all the ingredients are distributed evenly, mix properly using a spoon.

  • Take a scoop in hand, make the ladoos and transfer to a serving platter.

  • Serve fresh.
