Bajra Halwa Recipe

Bajra Halwa is a soothing dessert or an accompaniment made using bajra ( Pearl Millet Flour ), ghee and dry fruits. Being coarse in texture, Bajra has innumerable benefits that you just cannot count merely on your fingertips.

4.0 Flour Tbsp(31.0 ml) Bajra
2.0 Powder Tbsp(21.0 gm) Jaggery
2.0 Chopped Tsp(5.0 gm) Almond
2.0 Chopped Tsp(6.0 gm) Pista
1/2 Powder Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Elaichi
2.0 Tsp(8.0 gm) Ghee
50.0 Ml(50.0 ml) Water
  • Heat kadhai on medium flame, add 2 tsp ghee, 2 tsp chopped pista, 2 tsp chopped almond, fry them in the ghee.

  • Then add 3 tbsp bajra flour, 2 tbsp jaggery powder, 1/2 tsp green elaichi powder, mix it well.

  • Then add water & stir till thick consistency.

  • Add white sesame seeds and serve hot.
