1 Tbsp(17.0 gm) Moong Dal
1 Tsp(4.0 gm) Coconut Oil
4 Number(0.44 gm) Kadi Patta
200 Ml(200.0 ml) Water
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1/4 Tsp(0.6 gm) Haldi
1/2 Powder Tsp(1.0 gm) Red Chilly
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
1 Tbsp(10.0 gm) Peas
1 Chopped Tbsp(3.0 gm) Coriander Leaves
1 Chopped Tbsp(13.0 gm) Tomato
1 Grated Tbsp(9.0 gm) Carrot
1 Chopped Tbsp(8.0 gm) Onion
2 Tbsp(25.0 ml) Bajra
  • In a pan, heat 1 tsp coconut oil, add 1/4th tsp jeera and allow to crackle.

  • Add 4 curry leaves ,1 tbsp of chopped onion, and saute till golden brown.

  • Then, add 1 tbsp each of chopped tomato, and grated carrot and green peas and mix well.

  • Add 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4th tsp each of haldi and salt and saute.

  • Next, add soaked bajra and cooked moong dal.

  • Add sufficient water and 1 tbsp of chopped coriander leaves on top

  • Cover the pressure cooker with its lid and cook for up to 4 whistles.

  • Serve hot with your choice of accompaniments.
