Badam Barfi Recipe

Almond Barfi is a delectable Indian dessert that is high in energy and can be easily made at home. In addition, almonds are genuinely nutritious, packed with good fats and high-quality protein.

2.0 Tbsp(20.0 gm) Khoa
2.0 Chopped Tbsp(22.0 gm) Almond
1/8 Powder Tsp(0.24 gm) Green Elaichi
2.0 Tbsp(30.0 gm) Ghee
50.0 Ml(50.0 ml) Water
  • For the sugar syrup add 2.5 tbsp sugar, water as required, stir continuously on a low flame. Boil the sugar syrup until it thickens.

  • Add the prepared almond powder, 1 tbsp Ghee, 2 tbsp Khoa and 1/8th tsp cardamom powder.

  • Mix continuously on low to medium flame.

  • Continue to mix continuously until the mixture starts to leave the pan.

  • Transfer the badam dough onto the butter paper and allow it to cool for 5 minutes.

  • Grease your hand with little ghee and knead for a minute.

  • Once you get a smooth dough, roll the dough with a rollingpin, add 2 tbsp chopped badam on the barfi and cut the dough into square shape or the shape you wish for.

  • You can also decorate with silver leaf/silver vark.
