Babycorn Jalfrezi Gravy Recipe

Baby corn jalfrezi is a healthy vegetarian take on the popular jalfrezi dish. This recipe is tangy, spicy and goes well with roti or rice.

2 Tbsp(20.0 gm) Capsicum (Chopped)

1 Tbsp(8.0 gm) Onion (Chopped)

1 Tbsp(13.0 gm) Tomato (Chopped)

1 Tsp(5.0 gm) Ginger Garlic Paste

1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Jeera

1 Tsp(4.0 gm) Sugar

1/4 Tsp(0.53 gm) Dry Mango Powder
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(0.54 gm) Red Chilly Powder

1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Salt

1 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil

As Required(20.0 ml) Water
  • Heat a pan with 1 tsp oil.

  • Add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1 tbsp chopped tomato, 2 tbsp chopped green capsicum, 1/2 cup babycorn and mix.

  • Now add 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4th tsp red chilli powder, 1/4th tsp amchur powder, 20 ml water and mix well.

  • Serve hot with rotis.
