Asparagus Soup Recipe

1/2 Cup(65.0 gm) Asparagus
1/2 Cup(91.0 gm) Potato (Chopped)
2 Tbsp(16.0 gm) Onion (Chopped)
1/2 Cup(102.0 ml) Milk
1/8 Tsp(0.37 gm) Black Pepper (Powder)
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1 Tsp(4.0 gm) Butter
As Required(50.0 ml) Water
  • Melt 1 tsp butter in a frying pan at a low flame, add 2 tbsp chopped onion and sauté.

  • Once the onions are golden brown add 1/2 cup chopped potato, 1/2 cup chopped asparagus and mix well.

  • Pour in the required amount of water, cover and allow it to cook.

  • Once cooked, pour it in a blender and blend it to a puree form.

  • Take a fresh frying pan and heat it on a low flame.

  • Pour in the puree along with 1/2 cup milk, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/8th tsp black pepper powder and mix well.

  • Stirring the soup well, bring it to a boil and allow it to cook for a few more minutes.

  • Garnish with a sprinkle of black pepper powder.

  • Serve hot.
