Aseriyo Na Ladoo Recipe

Aseriyo Na Ladoo is a healthy Bengali sweet dish made by rolling garden cress seeds, coconut, ghee and jaggery into balls. They are a boon for lactating women with their great iron and folic acid content.

4.0 Grated Tbsp(24.0 gm) Fresh Coconut
2.0 Tbsp(23.0 gm) Garden Cress Seeds
1/4 Powder Tsp(0.5 gm) Green Elaichi
3.0 Powder Tbsp(31.0 gm) Jaggery
1.0 Tsp(4.0 gm) Ghee
  • In a mixing bowl, add soaked halim seeds, 4 tbsp grated fresh coconut, 3 tbsp jaggery powder, 1 tsp ghee and mix properly.

  • To this add 1/4th tsp green elaichi powder and mix well till golden brown.

  • Cool the mixture and roll into small balls.

  • Serve.
