Apple Upside Down Cake Homemade Recipe

This caramel apple upside down cake is a fall must-make. It combines a soft cinnamon-spiced cake with buttery caramelized apples on top.

1/8 Diced Cup(19.0 gm) Apple
1/4 Tsp(0.89 gm) Baking Powder
1/8 Tsp(0.54 gm) Salt
1/3 Cup(49.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
1/2 Egg Whole(23.0 gm) Egg
3 Tbsp(39.0 gm) Sugar
2 Tbsp(23.0 gm) Butter
1/8 Cup(25.0 gm) Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp(12.0 gm) Butter
  • For Upside Batter

    In a mixing bowl add 1/8th cup brown sugar,1 tbsp melted butter and whisk till creamy in texture.

  • Pour in a greased mold and spread it well.Place 1 number of the apple slice.

  • Keep aside.

  • For Bottom Batter

    In a mixing bowl add 2 tbsp melted butter,1 tbsp sugar,1/2 number egg and whisk till creamy in texture.

  • Add into the 1/8th cup apple juice,1/3rd cup whole wheat flour,1/4th tsp baking powder,1/8th tsp salt and whisk it well.

  • Pour batter on top of the apple slice and spread it well

  • Bake at 180 degrees celsius for 30 minutes and serve.
