This recipe gives the popular payasam an upgrade as a wholesome, fibre rich dessert. Nuts and raisins add richness and crunch to its texture.
In a kadhai, heat 1 tsp ghee and add 3 tbsp grated apple, saute till it caramelises, now add 1/4th cup oats.
Mix it until slightly toasted.
Now add 1/2 cup Nestlé A+ Milk.
Add 1/2 tbsp chopped almonds, 1/2 tbsp chopped pistachios, 3 raisins.
Sweeten the mix with 1 tbsp sugar.
Mix well and cook for a few minutes until the Nestlé A+ Milk thickens.
Serve in a bowl and sprinkle a few flax seeds on top for a nutritional twist.
