Apple Lactose Free Milk Kheer Recipe

This delicious apple and lactose-free milk-based dessert with the goodness and nutrients of dry fruits is a welcome change from a traditional Kheer recipe and it not only has the goodness of fruit but also has an aromatic flavor of cardamom.

1/4 Cup(58.0 gm) Apple (Grated)
1 Cup(200.0 ml) Almond Milk
1 Tsp(3.0 gm) Almond (Chopped)
1 Tsp(2.0 gm) Walnut (Chopped)
1/4 Tsp(0.5 gm) Green Elaichi Powder
1 Tbsp(13.0 gm) Sugar
2 Tsp(8.0 gm) Ghee
  • Heat 2 tsp ghee in a sauce pan.

  • Add 1/4th cup grated apple and saute.

  • Add 1 tbsp sugar, cook till it Caramelizes.

  • In another pan, heat 1 cup almond milk.

  • Bring to a boil.

  • Add 1 tsp chopped walnut, 1 tsp chopped almond, 1/4th tsp green elaichi powder, caramelized apple

  • Mix and allow to simmer

  • Serve chilled.
