Apple Bell Pepper Soup Recipe

A fulfilling meal with minimal calories, apple and bell pepper soup is easy to digest. The walnut garnish powers up the soup with the goodness of omega -3.

1/3 Diced Cup(52.0 gm) Apple
0.13 Diced Cup(14.0 gm) Capsicum
1/4 Diced Cup(43.0 gm) Tomato
1/4 Diced Cup(31.0 gm) Onion
1/2 Chopped Tsp(1.0 gm) Garlic
1/4 Powder Tsp(0.75 gm) Black Pepper
1.0 Number(0.3 gm) Bay Leaf
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1.0 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil
150.0 Ml(150.0 ml) Water
  • In a kadhai, heat 1 tsp oil.

  • Add 1/4 cup each of diced onion and capsicum and saute.

  • Then, add 1/8 cup of diced tomato, 1 bay leaf, 1tsp chopped garlic and saute well again.

  • Next, add 1/8th cup of diced apple, 1/4 tsp each of salt and pepper and mix well.

  • Add required amount of water, stir, cover the pan with a lid and cook for 3 minutes.

  • Put off the heat, and puree the mixture with a blender.

  • Finally, add 1/4 cup diced apple on top and serve in a bowl.

  • Add a tsp of crunchy walnuts for a nutritional twist.
