  • In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil.

  • Add 1/4th tsp rai, 1/2 tsp chopped green chilli, 6 kadi patta leaves, 1/8th tsp hing an d saute.

  • Now add 1/2 cup chopped colocasia leaves, boiled peanuts and mix.

  • Flavor with 1/4th tsp red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp dhania powder and 1/4th tsp salt.

  • Saute well, add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 2 tsp grated fresh coconut, 1 tbsp jaggery powder, 1 tsp tamarind pulp.

  • Mix well.

  • Now add 2 tbsp boiled chana dal and water as required. Mix well.

  • Let it simmer.

  • Serve hot with rice.
