Aloo Matar is an easy potato and green peas Indian curry for weekdays, made with basic ingredients. its a perfect recipe for Vegan & gluten-free.Its taste best when served hot rice or chapatti.
Heat kadai on low flame, add 1 tsp oil, 1/4th tsp rai, 1/4th tsp jeera, 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/2 tsp red chilly powder and saute well.
Now add 1 tbsp chopped tomato and saute well. Then add water and mix well.
Add 3 tbsp boiled green peas, 3/4th cup boiled diced potato, saute well.
Finish it by adding 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves, 1/4th tsp salt, tomato puree and mix well.
Cover and allow to cook until done. .
