Aloo Bhajiya Recipe

Aloo Bhajiya - thin potato slices coated with besan, flavoured with spices and the deep fried till crisp. A quick and easy Evening snack moist and soft on the inside with a crisp outer covering, the best tea time snack to have in almost all homes.

1/2 Tsp(3.0 gm) Ginger Garlic Paste

1/4 Tsp(0.54 gm) Red Chilly (Powder)

1/4 Tsp(0.37 gm) Garam Masala
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(0.6 gm) Haldi

1/8 Tsp(0.29 gm) Ajwain
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
ingredients
2 Tsp(7.0 ml) Oil

As Required(20.0 ml) Water
  • In a mixing bowl, add 3 tbsp besan, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp garam masala, 1/8th tsp ajwain and 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste.

  • Add water and mix well.

  • Dip 10 potato slices in the batter.

  • Heat oil for frying. Deep fry the potato slices till crispy

  • Serve hot
