A very nourishing blend of South Indian delicacy that includes a variety of veggies that is loaded with vitamins and minerals. Veggies and dal both in one bowl that tastes best with steamed rice.
In a pan, heat 1 tsp oil, add 1/4 tsp rai, 5 kadi patta, 1/4 tsp hing and mix.
Add 1.5 tbsp chopped onion, 2 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/2 tsp salt, 1.5 tbsp chopped french beans, 1/8 cup chopped bottle gourd, 2 tsp chopped pumpkin,1/4 cup chopped potato.
Spice it with 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, 1/4 tsp haldi powder, 1 tsp sambhar powder and mix well.
Add water and cook.
Add cooked dal and mix all ingredients.
Sprinkle 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
Simmer til all the spices blend well with dal.
