Ingredients
Steps
- Step 1
Heat a pan with 1.5 tsp oil, add 1/4 tsp rai, 1/4 tsp jeera and let it crackle
- Step 2
Add 1/4 tsp ginger garlic paste, 2 tbsp chopped onion, 2 tbsp chopped tomato and saute until soft
- Step 3
Add 1/4 cup diced brinjal and season with 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp dry mango powder, 1/4 tsp black pepper powder, kadi pata and mix well
- Step 4
Add in some water, cover and cook until soft
- Step 5
Add 1/4 cup boiled diced potato and mix everything well
- Step 6
Add 1/4 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
- Step 7
Add little water, 1 tsp groundnut powder and mix well
- Step 8
Cover the pan and simmer until all flavors combine well
- Step 9
Season with 1/4 tsp salt and mix well.
- Step 10
Give it a Nutritional Twist by adding white sesame seeds
- Step 11
Serve hot with chapati
