Almond Coconut Jaggery Ladoo Recipe

A sphere-shaped sweet originated from the south of india. A blend of nuts, coconut and jaggery, crumbly in texture making it a perfect choice for people with a sweet tooth. Packed with protein and iron, almond ladoo is undoubtedly the best for children.

  • Heat a frying pan at a low flame, take 1/2 cup of almond and dry roast.

  • Once roasted, grind it to fine powder.

  • Heat a frying pan at a low flame, take 1/4 cup grated fresh coconut, dry roast it.

  • Heat 1.5 tbsp ghee in a frying pan at a low flame, add 2 tbsp chopped cashewnut, saute until slightly golden.

  • Take a mixing bowl, add the ground almond powder, roasted coconut, 3 tbsp jaggery powder, 2 tbsp of previously roasted cashew nut and 1.5 tbsp ghee.

  • Making sure all the ingredients are properly mixed, make round ladoos with hand.

  • Serve fresh.
