Almond Chikki Recipe

Almond Chikki is a lip smacking Indian dessert that is high in iron and protein and is simple to make at home. Almonds are extremely nutritious, full of healthy fats and protein and jaggery is a good source of iron. It can be replaced with chocolate and given to your kids at any time.

2.0 Powder Tbsp(21.0 gm) Jaggery
0.13 Powder Tsp(0.25 gm) Green Elaichi
4.0 Strand(0.4 gm) Kesar
1.0 Tsp(4.0 gm) Ghee
  • Preparation

    In a kadai, heat 1 tsp ghee and 2 tbsp jaggery powder and mix until melts.

  • Now add 1/8th tsp green elaichi powder, 4 kesar strands, roast till leaves the aroma.

  • Add 3 tbsp chopped badam and mix until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.

  • Transfer on a flat surface and allow it to set.
