Aamras With Poori Recipe

Aamras is one of the most famous traditional recipe of Gujrat and Maharastra that mostly prepared in summer.This delightful combination is nourished with potassium, manganese, and can be relished either.

1/2 Cup(102.0 ml) Milk

3 Tbsp(44.0 gm) Mango(Chopped)
ingredients
1 Tbsp(13.0 gm) Cream
ingredients
1 Tbsp(11.0 gm) Sugar(Powder)
ingredients
1 Tsp(0.68 gm) Kesar(Strand)
ingredients
1/2 Cup(73.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
ingredients
1 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil
ingredients
For Frying(16.0 ml) Oil
ingredients
As Required(50.0 ml) Water
  • For poori

    Take 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, add 1/4th tsp salt, 1 tsp oil and water.

  • Knead to make a soft dough.

  • Roll to make pooris.

  • Heat oil for deep frying.

  • Fry pooris till golden.

  • Serve hot.

  • For aamras

    In 1/2 cup milk, add 3 tbsp chopped mango, 1 tbsp powdered sugar, 1 tbsp fresh cream, 1/2 tsp kesar strands.

  • Blend until smooth

  • Garnish with kesar strand

  • Serve with poori
