Steps
- Step 1
Heat a pan with 1.5 tbsp mustard oil until it starts smoking and turn the flame off and let it cool down to room temperature.
- Step 2
In a grinder add 5 dried red chilli , 1/2 tsp of each methi seeds, saunf and black pepper powder, 1 tbsp coriander seeds, 1 tsp rai, 1/4 tsp of each haldi, and hing and 1/2 tbsp dry mango powder
- Step 3
Give it a Nestle Twist by adding kalonji
- Step 4
Grind it to a coarse powder
- Step 5
Add the coarse spice mixture mustard oil and mix well
- Step 6
Transfer it to boiled yam and season with 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Step 7
Mix everything together and Yam Pickle is ready.
