Steps
- Step 1
Heat a kadhai, add 2 tsp oil, 1/4 tsp rai, 1/4 tsp jeera, 1 tbsp grated fresh coconut, 5 kadi patta leaves, 1/4 tsp hing and saute.
- Step 2
Add 2 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp haldi and saute.
- Step 3
Season with 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1/4 tsp salt for taste, cooked chana dal and mix everything well.
- Step 4
Pour a little water to adjust the consistency.
- Step 5
Garnish with 1/2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- Step 6
Give it a Nestle Twist by adding black sesame seeds
- Step 7
Simmer for 2 minutes over medium heat and mix well
- Step 8
Serve warm with rice
